The first FloreoAetās formulas were mixed beside a kettle and a stack of research papers. The kitchen laboratory was less romantic than it sounds: scales had to be cleared before dinner, and every promising emulsion was tested again under less forgiving conditions.
Leaving the cosmetics industry at thirty-two created the space to ask a different question. Instead of beginning with a trend or a launch calendar, what would happen if the work began with one landscape and the ingredients that communities there already understood deeply?
“I did not want to make more skincare. I wanted to make a reason for each object to exist.”
The answer became a house built around fewer objects, patient formulation and long relationships at source. Growth still matters, but not at the cost of the practices that made the work possible in the first place.
